Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a syndrome in which you experience long-term pain throughout your body as well as tender points in joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues.

It has also been linked to fatigue, sleep problems, headaches, depression, anxiety, and other symptoms.

Other names are Fibromyositis, Fibrositis and chronic muscle pain. Diagnosis requires a history of a least 3 months of widespread pain, along with pain and tenderness in at least 11 of 18 tender-point sites.

There is great similarity between the symptoms of Fibromyalgia and of the symptoms of Candida. Medical treatment has been primarily focused on pain relief, relaxation and psychological support. While this is somewhat helpful, it does not address the cause nor affect a cure.

If primary Candida is suspected, the use of anti-fungal agents, alternative medical support for the immune system, probiotics to repopulate the bowels, and a low sugar diet may be effective in those who have Fibromyalgia as a result of a concurrent Candida infection.

Dealing with Fibromyalgia

Since Fibromyalgia can be directly related to Candida, you should start on one of the treatments for Candida albicans. Both programs incorporate six steps. You need to attack the Candida from many directions to be guaranteed success. There are many programs that only use one step or one supplement. Be wary of these programs because Candida is very adaptable and it takes some time to get it under control.

The natural Candida cure uses herbs and supplements to get the Candida under control. The Candida albicans medicine page describes how to use pharmaceuticals to kill the Candida. I always recommend the natural Candida cure since medical anti-fungals are hard on your liver.

You also need to keep a journal of everything you eat and how you feel two hours later. This journal is critical in determining what foods you should avoid and what foods you can eat.

Any food that makes you feel ill, tired or bloated should be removed from your diet until the treatment program is complete. Also any food that creates cravings instead of filling you up should be avoided.

When the treatment program is complete, don't immediately jump back into your old eating habits. Do the Challenge Phase of the Candida diet.

Challenge Phase of the Candida Diet:

  1. Wait at least two weeks after all symptoms are gone.
  2. Add one of the avoided foods into your diet.
  3. Watch for symptoms for 48 hours.
  4. If you don't get any symptoms, it is safe to eat that food again.
  5. Proceed to challenge your body with each avoided food until all have been tested.
If symptoms reoccur, you either have not gotten rid of the Candida or you were sensitive to the food prior to getting a Candida overgrowth and it should be avoided for life.

Using a Candida Treatment Program and keeping a journal your eating habits will help you get the Candida overgrowth under control. Since most cases of Fibromyalgia are caused by excess Candida, you will also get both under control.
