Candida Albicans Description

Not sure what Candida is? I have compiled a simplified Candida albicans description so you will know exactly what it is that you are fighting and how you came to be infected.

Candida Albicans Description

Candida is a form of yeast that is normally found everywhere in the world including in your mouth, throat, gut, vagina (if you're a female) and on your skin.

If you are healthy, the presence of Candida albicans is considered a normal part of your bowel flora (the organisms that naturally live in your intestines and are not parasitic).

Candida has many functions inside your digestive tract, one of them to recognize and destroy harmful bacteria.

As long as your immune system is healthy and functioning properly, the Candida growth is regulated, kept under control and welcomed by your body.

How the Candida Take Over

However there are many things that can upset the bowel flora. Once the flora are diminished, the Candida can flourish and take control.

After the Candida takes control, it will shift from its yeast form to a fungal form and start to invade your body.

Candida Description

In its yeast state Candida is a non-invasive organism, however in its fungal state it is invasive and can produce very long root-like structures called rhizoids.

These rhizoids can penetrate your intestinal walls, leaving microscopic holes. Undigested food particles (among other things) can enter the bloodstream through these holes causing Leaky Gut Syndrome.

The Candida can also penetrate your intestinal walls and enter your bloodstream. Once the Candida has access to your whole body, you have a system-wide or systemic Candidiasis.

While the Candida is in your bloodstream, it plays a game of hide and seek with your immune system. Your body knows that something is wrong but it cannot find the Candida.

While it is looking for the Candida, your body may start attacking different things looking for the invader, and sometimes it attacks itself!

This is the start of auto-immune problem such as Chronic Fatigue, Crohn's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Multiple SclerosisArthritis or Lupus.

Sometimes the body doesn't attack itself but it attacks harmless particles from the environment and you end up with allergies or food intolerances.

When I had a Candida overgrowth, I became gluten intolerant and thought I had Celiac Disease.

Candida Albicans - How to Affect a Cure

Once I followed the natural cure, I could once again eat foods that I used to enjoy.

However, even after you are cured I do not recommend that you eat very many grains. They are not needed in the human diet and may even cause problems.

Even if you can manage to rebalance your bowel flora after you develop systemic candidiasis, it will not help your body do anything with the fungal Candida in your bloodstream.

You must use a multi-pronged attack like the natural cure or the process described on the Candida medicine page.

If you follow the steps I have outlined, you will be you normal exuberant self in no time. Now what are you waiting for? Get off of your butt and find out which treatment is right for you!
