Candida Albicans Cure, Issue #006 -- Quit Feeding the Candida

One of the SIX STEPS OF HEALTH is to starve the Candida. Most people would prefer to skip this step and just takes some pills to cure themselves. However if you eat doughnuts and sodas daily, no pill in the world will kill the Candida - they will be fat and sassy and churning away giving you symptom after symptom.

The standard diet in America and around the world is horrible. We eat processed food from boxes, cans and bags. We never drink pure water - it is always a soda, energy drink or sports drink. These things we call food have virtually no nutrition for the human body. However the Candida are loving it!

There's enough sugar and simple carbohydrates in these foods to keep the Candida alive indefinitely!

Take a look at your diet - does it look anything like this?

  • A Mountain Dew and a doughnut for breakfast.
  • A Snickers bar and another Mountain Dew for the morning snack
    • "I don't know why I'm so sleepy still!"
  • A Subway Sandwich, Potato Chips and a 40 oz Coke for lunch
  • A Snickers bar and another Mountain Dew for the afternoon snack
    • "I can't keep my eyes open this afternoon!"
  • A frozen pizza and a six pack of beer for supper
  • Buttered microwave popcorn for a snack before bed
Sound familiar? If so it's no wonder that the Candida are reproducing like mad. And it's also no wonder that you feel run down all of the time. Although this diet is feeding the Candida, it is NOT giving you the nutrients you need to be healthy. Even if you don't have a Candida albicans overgrowth, this diet will make you feel horrible.

What do you do? How can you make such a huge change from your current diet to one that starves the Candida?

You take it one step at a time. First you stop eating the things that you KNOW are bad for you. Those things that you tell yourself - "I shouldn't be eating this but..."

Next you stop eating the things that have sugar or high fructose corn syrup in the first two ingredients.

Then you cut back on anything made from grains - bread, pasta, noodles, pizza crust. etc.

While you are removing the bad things from your diet, start adding good foods. You know - the ones your mother told you to eat as a child. You slowly remove one bad thing at a time and add one good thing and before you know it - you are eating healthy! You can get more details on what to eat and what not to eat on my Candida diet page.

The Candida won't stand a chance once you make the change! What are you waiting for? No one is going to do it for you. You alone are in charge of your destiny! Get off your duff and get started!
