Candida Albicans Cure, Issue #011 -- Fake It Until You Make It
December 08, 2006
I know the title sounds like the theme from some adult movie but trust me it's not. It is an important step on the road to recovery. Keep reading...
One of the most important aspects of your life is your mental outlook. This is especially true when you are trying to cure a disease. If you think you are going to get cured, then you probably will. If you think the disease is stronger than you, then it is stronger than you.
Stories abound of people that had spontaneous remission of cancer without any treatment. Most of these people had very positive mental outlooks. They "knew" that they were going to be cured.
How does this affect you? In a very large way if you have a candida albicans overgrowth.
Some of the symptoms of candida yeast infection are devastating. Digestive problems - pain, bloating, constipation, nausea... Mental problems - anxiety, confusion, depression, headaches, insomnia... And a whole laundry list of other problems - PMS, Vaginal Yeast Infections, Chronic Fatigue, Eczema, Bladder Infections, Kidney Infections...
If you have 5, 10 or more of these symptoms at the same time, it may seem as though you are going to die. Add this to the fact that your doctor sent you home saying "It is all in your head" and you have the making of a very poor mental attitude.
So how do you keep a positive mental attitude when you feel this bad?
You use a technique called "Fake It Until You Make It".
Rate how you feel on a scale from 1 to 5. With 1 being the absolute best you have ever felt and 5 being the absolute worst. On the days that you are a 5 - instead of whining and moaning and telling everyone how bad you feel, you fake it. You put on a smile and do your best to pretend that you feel like a 4 instead of a five.
An amazing thing will happen - you will actually start to feel a little better. As you feel better, keep pretending that you feel better and better. Some days you may be able to make it all the way to a 1. Other days you may only make it to a 4. No matter what - you will always feel better than you did when you began.
This is one of many techniques that you can use to cope with a disease while you are on your road to recovery. Keep a positive mental attitude and you will very soon regain your youthful exuberance and vibrant health.
Here's to your health.
P.S. Although Fake It Until You Make It may seem like a lot of hocus-pocus - don't knock it until you try it. It does work and can sometimes make all the difference in how you feel.
